Cardinal DVM Microphones

The CARDINAL DVM DS MC251 is perfectly suited for most male and female voices. It has a very direct character, a very natural sound, i.e. free of coloration and is extremely rich in nuances. It lends a simply fantastic sound to instrumental recordings! Just use it to record your saxophone, western guitar, drums, percussion and also your string orchestra...
you'll simply love it!
CARDINAL DVM DS MC47 Tube Microphone
As one can easily recognize by the name, the design of the MC 47 is also based on a legendary microphone. It basically has the same features as its forerunner U47, yet it has a much more open sound and is more versatile.
It is the classic microphone for male and female voices that also shines when used for bass recordings and a number of other instruments.

CARDINAL DVM DS MTC12 Transistor Microphone
The MTC12 is a modern transistor microphone
with high adjustment. This makes it an outstanding and straightforward universal
microphone for vocals, speech and instruments.
The MTC12 has a fantastic price-performance
ratio and is sure to become one the of the most popular transistor microphones available
on the market.
CARDINAL DVM DS MTC47 Transistor Microphone
The MTC47 has the same special
circuit as the MTC12. It is an excellent microphone for vocals and announcers and
preferably suitable for male voices and a great number of instruments (e.g. drums).

The CARDINAL DVM DS SDT1 transistor small membrane microphone combines the warm and expressive sound character of old tube classics with the high resolution of modern transistor technology. A special circuit design with the shortest possible signal path is implemented here as well. The SDT1 with a cardioid capsule offers the best results for almost all types of instrumental recordings, i.e. drums overhead, guitar recordings, piano, etc.
The characteristics untypical for a small membrane microphone also make it an excellent choice for vocal recordings. In practical use it has already made a lot of significantly more expensive large membrane microphones look very small.
